My last one was a couple of years back, with native AMD GPU support it was super quick and simple.
Not a fan of Tmac, this sites decent https://hackintosher.com and there's also a great Discord community that is very active and always up for helping out if you get stuck. -
I built mine couple of years back and it's still going strong. Only recently been having minor problems since I upgraded to high sierra which I haven't gotten around to fixing yet. I remember my initial install wasn't the smoothest experience, however I got there eventually. And once everything is setup, it's smooth sailing.
Saying this, if I was to be buying new again now, I'd be leaning more towards the new Mac mini and and eGPU, mainly for ease of use and reliability

Any recent Hackintosh experiences? My MacBook is on it's way out - I have little use for buying a new one but do need a home computer. I've not built one since maybe 2009.
