Do broadband providers ever pay cancellation fees if you want to switch before a contract is over?

Not helpful sorry, but it entirely depends on your contract, read it and find out. If there are you could also ask if the new provider is willing to give you a partial reimbursement of any fees as you're brining your business to them, probably wont happen but cant hurt to ask.

Meh, ran out of time to fuck about with it in the end, the fuckers hooked me for a fresh 18mo contract, and got me to upgrade!
