There's two adjustment screws have you tried both of them? How old is it?

every time mine gets to the point i'm running out of notches to stop the shot from gushing, a readjustment on the small front screw has gotten me back in business.
sounds like you might have same issue as this chap where the big screw isn't staying in place.

or the burrs could be worn? I have the tool to get the top bit off if you need a borrow (though you could probably manage it with pliers/grips quite easily too).
as for repairers coffeehit.co.uk (london based) were distributors when i got mine in 2012 they may know of a repair centre who can help.

Which model is it? You should be able to recalibrate it yourself to grind finer.
