You say you can’t afford Ti, check out the Planet X / On-One pickenflick, they had a ruddy good deal on it recently with rival hydro. It won bike of the year a while back and it’s got massive tyre clearance. Not the most ‘up to date’ frame feature-wise but it’s meant to be a riot to ride, everyone I’ve met who owns one says it’s the best bike they own / have owned.
You lads might think I’m nuts but been thinking of selling my enigma etap titanium frame set which fits 32mm tyres max without guards and replacing with something with more clearance for knobblies for muddy rides and ‘gravel’. Any recommendations?
Can’t afford Ti anymore so will be using the funds from my frame set sell to buy a new frame set, presumably in steel or aluminium without topping it up much/at all.
Been looking at Kinesis Tripster AT and Fairlight Secan, but wondered if the hive mind had any further suggestions/experiences.
Cheers!
