Game pass, get it, and a hundred odd other games.

Yeah, this is what I did. Got the standard version. I’m gonna be hard pressed to spend another $70 for ultimate edition just to get the extra DLC and car packs if I’m honest. It cost me $1 for the first month. But if you don’t want game pass, I’d get ultimate.

It’s so much fun.

Ah I’m on PC, game pass is an Xbox thing I guess.

You can download any ‘play anywhere’ Games on windows. But yeah if you’re gonna buy it go for the full version.

Afraid not. Not one that is as good anyway, Forza Horizon is one of Xbox One’s few killer apps.

The only thing I would say is that, if you really like the horizon games, they have some of the most comprehensive and fun DLC packs of any game...

Yeah, don’t get me wrong, totally agree. But when the whole console cost $200, $70 for what is essentially DLC seems kinda steep right now. Perhaps when it’s come down in price.

@freddo that video has made me want to turn my living room into a full on racing sim set up. So cool.

I have to buy a wheel too so will give it some thought once I've finished Doom this weekend. I'm not sure I could get away with a full cockpit :)

Completed it m9. Also just did qube 2, which was an interesting first person puzzler, but lacked the charm of portal.

Been having a few rounds of PUBG and surprisingly I'm doing kinda well, a few kills each match which is quite an improvement, I'm putting it down to not having @CYOA holding me back atm.

Fave kill so far was shooting some joker out of the air mid jump with a Kar. Cheeky jumpy twat.

GF is playing skyrim for the first time. Managed to steer her away from sneak archery so far.

That's great ta - assuming my corsair 520w can handle those?

I'd assume so yes. I just bought a slightly overclocked RX 570 and it needs 150w max apparently. So it should be fine with my 460w psu. Nvidia cards are more efficient power-wise so a 1050ti or similar uses less.

That said I'm not in London at the moment so I've not plugged mine in yet...

Oh and a good quality one should last for years.

Some manufacturers offer 10 year warranties.

Corsair is a decent brand. I wouldn't bother replacing it personally.

On that note, Epic Games made a profit of £3 billion this year, half of that that GTAV has made in the past 6 years (including microtransactions). Largely due to Fortnite.

Hopefully this is enough to get rid of pay-to-win free-to-play games.
