FS: 1988 Mercian King of Mercia 56 cm Frameset

Sadly letting go of my 1988 Mercian King of Mercia. This bike has taken me over wonderful rides all over the country and I've had countless compliments on it over the years. It was one of the few steel rides in the 2016 Rapha Manchester to London Ride.

Frame is 56 cm square, Reynolds 531 tubing. Stickers were there but I removed them.
Purchased from the original owner who had it resprayed by Mercian in the 1990s
Tiny dent on the top tube which was there when I purchased the frame
Scuffs, chips, etc throughout the rest of the frame, see photos.
Fork and frame have been drilled for modern brakes
Comes with Interloc headset which has some wear on the bottom cup from a fender bracket.

how long is the headtube?

Any idea what the brake/tyre clearance is like, max tyre size?
