• I have no frame pegs. Do I add a frame pump or are there any good mini pumps? I hate stuffing everything in my Jersey so on my commute I have a long pump in my carradice bag but for non commuting rides I don’t always want to Carry the carradice. So thinking of tool roll plus frame pump or handlebar bag? What’s the most practical and what Will get me the most Instagram likes bearing in mind I have no tanwalls.

    Frame pumps are hot again. You don't need pegs, a piece of Velcro strap will be supplied.

    Silca if you have the dough, otherwise Topeak or Zefal.

    The joy of fixing a flat with a properly sized pump is totally worth it. I won't buy or use a mini pump ever again.

  • i've used my topeak masterblaster without even the velcro for thousands of KMs and never had a problem with it popping out. Probably depends on your tube profile though.

    Park Tool PMP-5 also worth a shout being extremely flexibles regardless of what frame sizes which actually be quite useful giving the vast difference in frame geometry nowadays making a fixed frame pump only to work with a specific frame shape.
