  • I don’t think there is anybody upstairs today... I am pretty sure I heard some human footsteps this morning but that was it.

Is it about time I start feeling sorry for stalker cat?

  • Meet honey..

  • It's hard to tell. Cats are perfectly happy outside for long periods if they have access to food. But it's not clear from your posts whether this cat is not being provided with food or not, unless I have missed something. Didn't you say it has a catflap now?

  • Just remembered that I know a cat that is left home alone for 3 months of the year, with daily half hour visits and a catflap. It's perfectly happy and healthy...probably keeps itself busy though. Wouldn't be surprised if it adopts a neighbouring family for entertainment...

  • Nice. Looks more like sugar.

  • Our cats are bird murderin' jerks.

  • She belongs to Mr Goldfinger..

  • Yes they have a cat flap now and when they left on Christmas Eve, they left enough food for a couple of days as they were meant to be back on 26th... I then fed him on 26th and 27th because they told me since I am feeding him, they are extending their away time...

As of now still nobody, except I heard some brief human footsteps in and out at some point today and yesterday...

  • And again

  • If it were me, I wouldn't worry. Perhaps the cats that have influenced my opinions have been exceptional, but I personally doubt that a cat with food and water and shelter is unhappy. Even if he/she isn't getting much human contact.

  • We have a cat nearby that we call the windowsill cat. She is nearly always sat on the same windowsill on our road, whatever time you go past, even 1am! Always seems happy, and fed and clean so presumably has somewhere to go.

However pretty sure it is not the house that she sits at, and has just decided, for whatever reason that that is her spot. She's slowly started to interact with us, but generally seems quite happy/aloof without human interaction

  • I am past that, they are still not back by the way... I wonder if I took their keys in time before they went off for Christmas, would they still be away for so long and just keep asking me to extend my goodwill?

I might or might not have mentioned this before, but stalker cat should never have been rehomed to a normal home, his entire litter mates have all gone to a farm as they are semi feral, but for some reasons, he slipped off the net and ended up here... 🤷🏻‍♀️

So the less human interaction he has, the more of his feral characters will come out as he is not even 2 years old yet...

So in a long run, I am more worried about what Patch and I have to put up with...

That said, I have a stick in the garden for, well, essentially checking if any shit is hidden behind some brushes etc... I have managed to train stalker cat to be afraid of this stick! Whenever I point it at his general direction, he runs off... really hate doing this, but works much better than a water gun...

  • Is the mouse big or is your cat small?

    Quite a cute mouse! 🧐

  • She thought I had a treat but I don’t... 😅

  • He is called Ninja? I have always wanted to call my cat Ninja! Patch just doesn’t look like a Ninja... 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • We got ninja from the local cat rescue. He was called ninja when we got him. Once he was fierce and even tried hunting my wife. now he's soft and can't be bothered.

  • What the hell are you watching?

  • Lemony Snicket S03E01.

    Now we're watching Splash. Classic.

  • She's only 7 months! (the cat, the mouse was of unknown age). I shudder to think how much she will be killing when she's fully grown.

  • Goody caught a frog today. He's a killer honest and just 7 months old.

A starling, a mouse and a frog are his known kills.

  • Patch hasn’t caught anything in a while and I am beginning to worry... weird, right! By when your feline friends act out of character, you worry... I know I do anyway...

Did I even mention a time where she caught a bird, I let it go, she caught it again, I let it go again... and a few rounds later, I had Jon choice but to let the bird go out the front doors... but it’s wings were probably injured and so I took it to our vets and pretended that I juts found it and knew nothing about how it ended up ath doorstep? 😳😳😳
