You don't want a phono stage for that. Phono stages are to bring the output of a phono cartridge (ie from a record deck) up to "line" level.
Confusingly RCA connectors/cables are often referred to as phono cables...

I think @ChainBreaker has used those little speaker amps before.
I'm certainly looking at one for the bedroom/office setup.
You'd need a small phono stage.
Another question:
chromecast - can they be powered and output via usb?
