Sunderland had a higher attendance in League One today than Spurs did at Wembley.

Great Christmas spirit at the Giuseppe Meazza. Pretty sure the Italian FA won’t do anything retrospectively.
Glad to get a win at Watford after that loss to Leicester.
Surely it’s Liverpool’s to lose now.

Jesus, we were shit today. On the upside, £2.10 a pint and some terrible karaoke at the local working men's club. I was paying three times that in Kilburn the other week.

are there any accessible stats on squad rotation this season / minutes played
the experts are saying liverpool might suffer later in the season for not rotating enough

Am I right in thinking once WHU and Southampton play tonight, all teams will have played each other once?

when did fellani's hair transfer go through ? i didn't see much on it in the press, leicester's chowdhury is making good use of it now though
good bit of business by the foxes

Hamza's always outdone Fellaini in the hair stakes, even when he was in the academy, I reckon it's Geundouzi who's got it

What’s the latest on Puel these days? Sounds like he’s bought some time by beating Chelsea and City?

First bit or the second bit? 😂😋😘

I was going to ask for clarification but couldn’t be arsed.
Decided not to feed your antipathy, and just revel in being in 2nd. Good times..

Feels weird to be hoping arsenal get a result against Liverpool.
Won’t make a difference if we don’t beat wolves -

If we hadn't won the league, sitting 7th at Xmas and going out in the league cup quarters to Man City would be more than acceptable to Leicester fans. I think Puel is doing a good job of taking the team through transition with one of the youngest squads in the league - making players like Chilwell, Ricardo, Choudhury, Gray first team regulars. But lots of supporters, used to exciting counter attacking football, get frustrated when we struggle. I think he's always going to be vulnerable, but hope he's given this season and next.

I was obvs having a little footie thread dig at the end but... I was interested in why you need the Spuds to be seen as contenders by everyone else, who the fuck cares? Does it bother you that much? Maybe it's the recent lack of silverware, I see Kopites doing it as well... Desperate to be taken seriously, I find it hilarious...

Spurs putting the pressure on getting media hype.

It's ridiculous... I see some Chelsea fans getting fucked off when our game gets shown towards the end of MotD, who the fuck cares? Watch your team, enjoy your football, fuck everyone else... Sorry, too many fucks...

Like your positive vibes. He was treated harshly at Southampton I think and look what’s happened to them since.
Can’t deny that if it wasn’t for the last two wins you’d be 13th in the league. -

Don't think I'll ever get bored of watching this. Best own-goal ever.

It's good but he didn't break his own nose whilst scoring it

I don’t, I’m happy to be considered dark horses/outsiders for the title, it was a reaction to everyone in the media talking us up and suddenly saying we’re contenders for the title after the win at Everton.
We’re a good team with a good manager, who are good enough to win the league, but there’s half a season left so anything can happen, I’m currently happy to be where we are, and still involved in the champions league and league cup. I’m happy to be thought of as dark horses and all the attention and pressure being placed on Liverpool and city’s shoulders, or chelsea’s when they went on that unbeaten run to start the season.
That doesn’t mean it doesn’t irritate when everyone falls back on the same tropes to describe us. Or the ex Liverpool and Man U players in the media constantly overlooking the progress we’ve made to put ourselves into the title conversation. Despite us being demonstrably better than those teams over the last couple of seasons.
The perception of us changes from match to match, we lose at arsenal we’re bottlers, we win at Everton sneaky shout for the title.
I personally am having a great time
this season, and am excited to go and see games and there’s no despair after a loss or a draw because we are a good side, able to overcome difficulties. But as I said to @Chalfie the whole of this season is through the prism of the summer of no dealings. If we do well pochettino is a genius coach whose managed his player resources excellently, if we don’t levy’s an idiot who focused too much on thee stadium and let the playing side fall to the side...
Ps I’m a bit giddy as jnr just slept for ten hours..

This makes me happy, looking forward to tickling baby feet in August... Don't leave the country this summer, or else...
Of course, Pooch will be at ManU by then, he'll take three or four of his best players with him... This much is guaranteed...
Meanwhile, we will struggle but, hopefully, get fourth place in the Prem...
Why do you even care? So needy... Both your lot and Libpool will choke, it's inevitable...
