You can find hundreds of pages of arguments about Bronze vs Brass in watch forums. I've never seen a believable reason why either is superior for a watch.
In marine applications, bronze has always been seen as superior to brass as brass is far more reactive to sea water but as far as I'm concerned, for watch cases that aren't in the water all day every day, the main decider is which tone of patina you prefer. And price

Think the biggest differences are Seiko vs ETA, Brass, vs Bronze, thicker case, thicker sapphire.
Edit: The ETA is roughly x6 more expensive than the NH38. Not that your watch is any less good at telling the time than mine!
