I guess it is. I'm 1,82 m and 56-57 is best for me.
Following your thread made me take mine from the attic. Bringing it to the resprayer this week. Hope it will work out well as it hass been heavily mutulated...

Yeah from the pictures in the link it looks too big for me unfortunately.
Uh, very nice one there, Wim - definitely looks worthy of giving it a go!

Hello fellow Panasonic fans.
I have a Panasonic frame that I bought on this forum a year or two ago. It’s not in the original colour scheme so I don’t know what model it is exactly.
Anyone know how you can tell them apart? PR6000 PR5000...
I’ve just started building it up, not original spec I’m afraid, but early 90’s Campag group mostly and Modolo bars, stem and levers.
I still need forks, the ones I intended to use the steerer is too short, I need 200mm. Anyone have anything appropriate the are looking to sell?

What seatpost diameter does it take? Did you check BB for serial number? Can you post a detailed photo of headtube lug?

My guess: it's a 1991 (first digit, here "1" in the serial number indicates the year; the A means January) PR (it has the seat post binder in the seatstays and has a frame number holder) 4000. I believe it is 4000 because it has the smooth curved head tube lugs where 5000 and 6000 have a "dented" one. You can see it clearly on head tubes pics here

I'm not an expert, no, not at all. I just made a guess based on comparison of some of their different models. You can find a lot of bikes and catalogs on the panasonic bike museum.
