So I’m at 11700 miles for the year, it looks like the festive 500 and 12000 for the year are ganging up on me.

Fifer here. Hello.
Where’s the loop I’ll pop by on my much more sedate ride.

What's everyone got planned tomorrow? Should be starting strong with 160km+ in the Wirral/Cheshire
Might be looking for some company to finish it off back down sauf come the weekend though -

I think I’m out. That @pastry_bot fella told me to enjoy life instead.

I'm heading off at around 5am from Leyton, heading over to my office near Guildford. Then back again in the evening.
Boring and a bit of a grim ride, over London bridge, A3, a24, full day at work and then back again.
Three of them, one ride to Suffolk and I'll be left with 30 odd miles to finish

The world has gone mad. I'm in bed and my missus has wheeled out her road bike to do laps. Dafuq...

The Hippy is dead, long live the Hippy.
Have fun people and ride safe, I’ll be riding vicariously this year so keep the stories coming!

I had a blood test appointment and now I'm home, "working", ie. trying to fiddle with stuff whilst not breaking anything. Think I might stick with my planned training rather than pushing for another 500.

Heading out now, having ridden a bike once in the last three months

Managed 60 of my planned 100 today. Never got above minus 4 and I suffered facially for it. Still got this sunrise vibes though.

Shit I should have paid more attention. I didn't realize the 24th was included in the time-frame

Been shafted with work over Xmas, so it may be touch and go if I can do it this year.
123km under the belt on a blowy day just outside Tokyo (just in case I can get the time to do the rest).

50 miles on the cargo bike this morning running errands was hard work. Not great miles, but in “the game” so to speak.

Some great pictures to start

Top is a mate’s shot of me, second is mine of him! How else would anyone possibly tell we rode :0
Japan is a good place to do the Festive 500 and, I think, totally less of a challenge than back in Blighty. The winter here is cold, but almost always dry.
Good luck to all those back home battling against less hospitable conditions.

Got my first Festive 500 flat this morning at around 7.15 in Ewell Village.
Ho ho fucking ho
Also a big fan of the B709. Other half's grandad actually lives on it in Innerleithen opposite Leithen Water, it's a lovely spot.
