Some combination of 'spot tracker' 'GPS tracker', and 'GPS logger' should work - a Google brought this thread on the CTC forums up, which has some discussion of standalone trackers: https://forum.cyclinguk.org/viewtopic.php?t=111404

I have one of these that I use for syncing to photographs to add a location. Does the job pretty well but sometimes seems to be an hour out (to do with daylight saving maybe), easy enough to fix though.

Im looking for a rechargeable gps tracker/recorder that I can carry in my bag to record my locations.
Basically a Garmin without the screen. But something I can plug into a computer if I need the gps data.
I can’t seem to search the correct words on google to find what I want?
