So I need to rewire a plug, and I got myself a new plug from my local DIY shop. I have just realised now that the original plug has a 3A fuse but the plug I got from the shop has a 13A fuse. Can I use it? Or is it too powerful? I think the shop might be closed now for Christmas so would be a few days wait to swap the plug, not end of the world but would rather get the plug fixed.
It’s for an amplifier... I have not rewire a plug before... but it looks pretty straightforward...
