Nice one! I was expecting a question on how to fix acrylic frames but nice to hear they sorted it out. Had a similar thing a while ago when mine snapped in two. My optician tried to repair them but it didn’t work out well enough so had to get a new pair
Mine broke during wiping too, but due to a crack that appeared earlier when I dropped them, sounds like a similar thing happened to you

I've been wearing a pair of acrylic glasses from Cubitts for about a year and a half. Last week they somehow snapped completely in half whilst I was wiping them. I sent Cubitts an email saying that I thought this was a bit crap for a pair of fairly expensive glasses. They immediately offered to replace the frames, free of charge, despite the fact that they were outside of the warranty period. When they received the broken glasses they noticed the lenses were scratched (undoubtedly due to me dropping them) so replaced them as well.
Really, really impressed by their customer service, would highly reccomend!
