The lock on SRAM mechs makes doing that so much easier

PX are doing a special on their carbon Space Chicken at £1200.
Shame their geo doesn't really cater for the (very) small riders out there or I would've been tempted. -

I've got QR on the road bike, so maybe Thru Axle is tighter. What mech did you use before? I would guess that the clutch one is similar to all other shadown ones, they do bring the arm further inboard.

Are rim brake carbon clinchers really the best idea for sketchy gravely descents?

Flo from Fern is oldschool.
He does square taper and rimbrakes. -

Also Pickenflick with full Rival 1 (including crankset, most of their previous offers of Rival 1 bikes included S350 crank) for 1200 makes me regret a bit buying the Apex mechanical one earlier this year.

Very sloppy ride out in Kent on Sunday. Turns out that All City can’t fit 40mm Nanos and a load of mud/leaves at the same time.

I just do it on a GoPro Session that sits under my bars. I’m forever pulling it out to see if it’s recording or not, so not the ideal setup. But they work well. I find it fun to do.
Just had to strip cranks and service my BB with new grease. Bike looked like it’d just been thrown in a creek.

You mean it wasn't thrown in a creek?

Anyone got or seen a transition rapture with 650b?
Just thinking if I can get a 47/50mm in that would save us from buying mountain bikes for those times we’d like a bit more tyre!
Got two raptures in the family, so two mtb bikes not brought would be helpful!

transition rapture.
I have a quick glance at a photos and it look like the rear triangle is hourglass shaped, meaning that there may be a possibility that a bigger 650b tyres may not fit well.

Thru axel, and its not an issue of the clutch. It's how close part of the mech is to the frame, which makes it tough to move the cassette inside the space between the mech and the frame without fouling the mech. Might just be poor compatibility with my frame? Will take a picture next time i'm doing it to show what I mean.
