It's a deployant clasp, just so you know. And I reckon it's better on the bracelet. Congratulations on finally going for the watch by the way - great that you're so happy with it.

Honestly, I’m ecstatic! The more I look at it, the more I love it.
It’s a huge expense but I love it. Financial circumstances meant I could get it now and I’m glad I did.
The only worry is that it may start an addiction which would not be good - or maybe not. 😁

Not sold out, just closed the shop until January after he sold the first 50. He’s a one-man-band, is Mr TimeFactors, and if he gets too many orders at once it makes his back hurt.

It’s a nice explorer 1 homage ... possibly the nicest.

It's a very cheap but decent quality 'homage' to one of the best watches ever made. If you can't afford a 1016 (who the fuck can) or one of the more recent Explorer I then this is a decent alternative.

Fair play, looks like it's gone up £100 since the last issue though. damn brexit!

He's never really surpassed the PRS-1 but saying that as a coincidence I am wearing my first run PRS-82 today (the ones with the NOS eta2824 from 1982)

Various factors in the price, it seems. Inflation, exchange rate and improved specification (sapphire crystal, extending clasp).

Still cracking value. I also fancy a PRS-29, though white or black dial would be a hard choice. Wish he'd consider reissuing the PRS-1, though.

Just found out our head of VIP has bought 16 Speedmasters as gifts. Apparently everyone laughed at him on the phone when he tried to buy them. If I'd known I'd have sent him your way @ejay2.0

He claims he's been given a discount and got them for 4k each but that sounds on the high side for a discounted price?

A very healthy discount, only £500 more than list per piece. Someone saw him coming, didn't they.

Quite clearly, only WoS would entertain buying 16 pieces at once, so it's probs a discount from their over inflated price.
