if you want to keep it decathlon i have one of these going spare (doesn't have the clippy connector thing any more though).

A shorter steeper stem
Some mtb ss cranks
New grips
Front large flat rack
Rear rack
Fit the child seat
Recable
Might throw a 3 speed hub on it, probs keep it ss
