i have a 44t set of cranks (also decathlon) very similar to the ones already on your vitamin I expect, but slightly less whizzy.

How much weight will you be carrying? Singlespeed with a heavy load doesn't sound like much fun, any gear that would allow you to move off easily from lights etc would end up being quite spinny when you were up to speed wouldn't it?

Plan is to build a load / child lugger that can be left locked out front.
Going to need:
26” schwalbe marathon x2
A shorter steeper stem
Some mtb ss cranks
New grips
Front large flat rack
Rear rack
Fit the child seat
Recable
Might throw a 3 speed hub on it, probs keep it ss
