I have never clipped her nails, I have never washed her and will likely never do either, because I love my arms and fingers, they are very useful...
She barely lets me groom her...
She is a cat with a very strong set of ideas of how she wants to live her life, just like most cats who walk this earth... I am her humble servant and do as I am instructed...
DO. NOT. JUDGE. ME.

Maybe he is confusing clipping nails with de-claw?
I mean I dont clip Patch's nails because she scratches a lot and I have always been told by the vets that's enough... I have a lot of friends who clip their cats nails and bath them regularly...

Yeah, it took a while to get Fabric used to it but with a little help from the vet, he became comfortable with a trim after a few weeks of trying.
Fabric is indoor only due to his heart condition, so perhaps thats why we have to do his so regularly. Saves our carpets and also saves him a trip to the vets and antibiotics when his dew claws curl back round into his skin.

Maybe. Even PETA say its ok to trim a cat's claws back to just in front of the quick. Its what their claws would be like if they lived in the wild anyway.
Just in case I have been acting cruelly, I have just pulled all of my fingernails out with pliers by way of apology.

And here I was wondering if I was being a terrible cat owner because I have never trimmed their nails.

Clipping nails is fine, de-claw is like having the last link on your fingers removed.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Snow Patch!
Building a winter Christmas thing for this year's Christmas card and I thought who would want a normal snowman when you can have a snow cat!

Hendricks is doing the same thing as last year... Using the tree skirt (apparently that's a thing) as a sort of gown thing.

My evening routine is now get home, park the bike up and go and retrieve all the Xmas tree baubles that have been batted all over the floor and under the sofas by Dizzy, who as always is treating the tree as an enormous cat toy.

Anyone have any recommendations for timed cat feeders that don’t stop working after two years?
-
• #8672
We have two, they've been working faultlessly for a good couple of years, I shall find the links. They are extremely handy.

I was just thinking I needed to get something like this before Christmas. Will have to opt for greedy cat variant for my x2 cat.

Kitty came to visit me in the workshop today. She seems to be getting floofier every day.
I shan't post a picture of the Robin she managed to dismember and leave scattered around the house.
