Is this part available as a spare from SRAM? It doesn't seem to be in their spare parts catalog.
It's part of the little Doubletap shifter lever on 10-speed Rival

They pile the bikes up at my council tip for collection by Sue Ryder. Almost all of them are full sus BSOs like that Muddy Fox. That must say something.

Yeah please don’t buy that - it will only encourage them to make more.
Go Outdoors might have something of the budget can stretch a bit.

Also if you're trying to convince them, better to buy from a actual shop so you have a CS representative to complain too

That's one of the links I found too, cheers.

Aye, I said if it needs to be new in that range then a shop would be easier to complain to than Amazon.

Nobody should buy muddyfox or apollo bikes, all are shit. Avoid as much suspension as possible, it's just extra weight and doesn't work. Decathlon are a bit less shit.
-
• #94917
Ortlieb do too; UK distro send out spares free of charge too.

More than a bit. I've looked as some low end Decathlons, and they seem to have been specified by people who actually have a clue about cycling.

I have half a bottle of Warnick's Advocat. It was opened a year ago and been in the fridge since. The label says refrigerate after opening and consume within 6 months of opening. It doesn't appear curdled or separated.
I'd like to take it to a party tomorrow because I'm hardly likely to drink the stuff at home, but I don't want to make anyone ill. I'll give it a taste in the morning. If it tastes ok and looks ok is it likely to be ok? (In the manner of milk going off) Or is it likely to carry bad bacteria (even without looking bad). -

It seems to be about £10.
Buy a fresh one. -

Assuming none of the alcohol has evaporated, the alcohol content should still be high enough to be self preserving.

You hate it that much, but you want to inflict it on other people?
-
• #94923
Down it, then buy some buckfast.
-
• #94924
It's a Christmas drink.
And I basically don't drink at home/alone. -

Sounds like you're just looking for a reason to start drinking in the morning, eh
Hard for me to comment to them without sounding like a bike snob. But cheers for the Apollo heads up, that's a good shout. I've sent a few eBay links as well.
