RE: Bag support - I've acquired two Carradice Bagmen (QR and non) over the last couple of years. As @TvH mentioned, the springs on the Flyer interfere with the QR version when mounted the expect way via clamping to the saddle rails. My working solution is to mount the non QR version that's just the support rail to the saddle rails, and find a way to secure the QR mechanism separately...
I don't mind the idea of a waterproof bag that comes out when I lock up - any suggestions for securing the empty saddlebag so someone doesn't walk off with it while I'm away?
