You mean 1-1/8" steerer quill stems, right? They are not obscure at all (although usually pretty ugly). Neat work though!

Wanted to switch out an ugly quill stem with obscure 1-1/4” steerer. Nitto straight 28.6mm Ahead adapter seems to be the only one which exists and is >£40. Or thick wall aluminium tube cut to the correct angle and reamed at the top for the quill top cap for ~£5.
