It got to be the same on every photo in the end. It appeared to be something that got worse - two photos on one roll to start then increasing on subsequent rolls.
The only other thing I could think of was a hole in the shutter getting progressively worse in my case. However even with shining a strong light at the shutter in the dark I couldn't see anything.
