Obviously depends what you're getting for the money but as an ex-bike tour operator that does seem quite good value (disclaimer-haven't looked at either package on offer!)
Edit - thinking about it, again I still haven't actually looked, if you're camping etc. each night, and I would imagine lots of costs in Outer Mongolia are reasonably low, maybe it isn't... maybe I should stop wildly speculating.
Edit 2 - pannier.cc's Outer Mongolia info page is spectacularly thin on any detail or info about what you're getting for your hard-earned, so it's pretty difficult to say whether it's a good deal or not! The jury remains out.

Would be interested in what you think you should get/if there's other bike tours offering similar. As far as I know they don't tend to include travel to the destination but do tend to include all food. I guess it's also at least one guide's time for two weeks which ain't cheap.
Like I say if I had the cash I would probably go on some of these pannier tours, I just feel bad because I know I could do it all my self and save a wodge.
You lot probably think it's well shit because you're hardos and that but pannier.cc is doing a 13 day expedition tour of Outer Mongolia next year for the low price of £1745
There's also Bosnia for £600.
Seems a lot tbh but I wish I had the cash.
