One pilot was pushing down (remain) the other was pulling up (leave)
Presumably the ice storm that kicked it all off is Major's bastards
The captain (Keir) is the guy who entered too late to sort the mess out

It was in response to the notion that labour strategists had played it well.
They played it exactly as you might if your only concern was getting into power. That is, trying their very best to walk the line of the wildly differing Brexit views of their core voters. If their members actually decided the direction of the party we remainers might have some meaningful representation in parliament. Another side effect of FPTP I guess.

"neither Bonin nor Roberts has ever received training in how to deal with an unreliable airspeed indicator at cruise altitude, or in flying the airplane by hand under such conditions"
Um, how do I check how much training my pilots have had... ?

Time for the Queen to get involved.
She strides into the chamber leading a phalanx of Beefeaters, picks up her mace and starts bashing some heads.

No flow chart two years ago indicated this is where we would be now.
Pretty sure that the EU have kept true to their word on this matter? If anything they’ve slightly given in on the four pillars.

May reminds me a little of Merkel and her handling of the financial crisis. To me it seemed as though she was desperate just to make as little a splash as possible and to hold on to power for herself and her party, while others applauded her ‘masterful gamesmanship’ even as the southern countries went to hell. I’m sure @Oliver Schick will tell me I’m misremembering my misperception...
(The best take I’ve heard recently on Trump is that he will never go to jail because he’s a rich white man, which is right on the money sadly.)

And two Tories won't even stand next to each other on the Beeb. What a bunch of children.
Actually, that's completely unfair on children.
1st Indian demand is increase in and ease of visa (which is funny), UK won't do that so thats a lost cause.
