I was coming from a praxis 48/32 paired with an 11/32. The premise of the change was that I was tired of the praxis being annoying in various ways and wanted to keep similar gears. Shifting is miles better (I’m using di2), as are the cranks (6800) in general. In terms of gears I’m now sat on the middle of the cassette rather than the bottom half, and I stay on the big ring more often. I didn’t think two teeth would make such a difference but there you go.
I've gone the other way around and put a 46 on a 50/34. I really, really like it. (with an 11/34 cassette)
