Yes, mine has a bright screen with split prism. It's pretty good but I struggle with critical focus unless I use the loupe.

I have a Va to shoot over Christmas. I think it has one of the standard screens. I’ll see how I get on.

I shot with a III for while and it's standard screen was terrible. If you're going to shoot with one regularly I'd say a screen upgrade is essential.
