Vauxhall / Opel is currently the same, GM sold it to PSA in 2017

Vauxhall advertising states that Vauxhall is a British company.

Vauxhall Motors Limited is a British car manufacturer, which is a fully owned subsidiary of German car manufacturer Opel, which in turn is owned by Groupe PSA of France.

French owned British brand perhaps
