  • equal top meanest defence then !

  • there's quite a few oldies here who surely must remember liverpool winning the title, although to be fair at that sort of age senility starts setting in so soon we won't remember liverpool having won a title

  • Klopp seems a bit unhappy about opposition players having the temerity to tackle Liverpool players cleanly (and that he may not be a very good judge of distance)

“I said after the first challenge, I don’t know who did it, a sliding tackle from six/seven yards, getting the ball, everybody likes it, I said to the ref ‘it’s no foul but please tell them you cannot do that"

  • you played firm but fair, milner had a good few goes at neymar when they came to our place, nowt wrong with firm but fair

    #crunchingtackles
    #reducers

  • joe gomez out for 6 weeks just as the games pile up and the big teams arrive

bournemouth then napoli and manure in a week, step up best defender in the world dejan lovren and show us a few clean sheets please

  • Big teams? Bournemouth and Napoli - fair enough. United? Manchester fucking United?

  • you know thrushy will be up for this, the one team he really hates losing to, well us any team pep's managing, he'll park the bus and beat us 1-0

    its written in the stars

  • where's matip? Has he fallen out of favour?

  • he did well vs burnley, but lovren has the edge i think. rotation is needed too so lovren against the better teams and matip vs manure

    they'll both be needed

  • Just taken me four hours to drive to Birmingham for the game tonight.

    We’d better fucking win...

  • Glad I didn't get a lift! (you'd better not win)

  • Dirty cheating shitty useless blind pathetic officials. Completely rodded there.

  • Just got home. Haven't seen a clip but plenty of chat around the ground that it was fairly blatant.

Still, a draw was roughly the right result

  • He might as well have fucking thrown the ball in. What a load of bollocks. The Championship needs VAR, there is too much riding on it all now to let things like this happen. A free pass for the Baggies singing like they have just spanked us 4-0.

  • equal top in our own right
made it look easy in the end, salah and the team beginning to hit form, lets hope we keep improving from here on in till the end of the season and try and ratchet up some pressure on pep

feel dirty but come on chelsea

  • City's pressing is scary. Chelsea are really struggling to keep hold of the ball.

I don't think this is going to be a high-scoring game.

  • Woof, what a finish.

  • Wonder if Chelsea fans dish out this treatment to their own black players.

  • I'm not convinced that's what is being said in this video.

It wouldn't be hugely surprising if someone at Stamford Bridge had said that today, and I've heard similar there myself from home fans, but that video isn't massively conclusive I wouldn't have said.

  • The racist ones probably do, just as the fans of your club who are also racists probably say about their own players.

  • Sterling getting pelters today and it’s only for one reason. It doesn’t happen at other grounds.

  • Not sure what Delph's role in the City team is today.

Is he there to make the other players look even better by comparison, or to make them seem more inclusive of a range of different skill levels? His long-range passing has been atrocious.

  • Remarkably for what they’ve spent and the strength of the first 15/16 players, City’s squad looks a bit thin with the odd injury.

They haven’t got a fit recognised left back. Jesus hasn’t scored for months and he’s they’re only fit striker. Silva has limped off now. Might be a long winter.
