Thanks :) I'm more comfortable with b&w.
I used a Plaubel Makina 67, I'm still trying to get the best of it!

After fixing the MV I decided to treat myself to a nice lens for it. Picked up a 40mm 2.8, giving me (from what I can work out) the smallest 35mm SLR/lens combo one can get. Pictured next to a 'compact' camera for size reference :)

Yeah!
Have the same here (well, almost - it's an ME with the 40/2.8) ..my only gripe is that the focus ring is so tiny and just 'good', handling-wise - and not 'awesome' as the other Pentax-M lenses
: ]Have fun shooting!

True it is very tiny, but getting used to it only takes a minute or two, and I reckon its worth it for how tiny the whole system is

Actually the major selling point for me was that it's 40mm, not that it's so tiny (and I am a big fan of pancake lenses in general), it's just that in (my) real-life-scenarios it doesn't really matter whether it's one or to centimeters smaller really, it's not that I can put it in my jeans pocket anyways, so..

Don't buy.
I of course did, not the Contax or Leica though, a Canon P. Need to start offloading some cameras...

anyone got a Pentax LX? just bought one and wanted to see if there were any signs i should look out for regarding possible failure down the line

Only 8 images, 6x9? Hmm im not holding out much hope. Is there a foolproof way to do 120 without this problem? I dont want to have to worry about closing every roll in the dark/keeping them lightight when sending off
-
• #18386
I dont do anything like that when sealing up my 120. Just make sure its tight when i seal it.

I just wind them on a lot after the last shot (this makes absolutely no sense, still I keep doing it for shits and giggles), then open the back & take out the spool carefully and not in direct sunlight obviously, putting a finger on the wound-up film so it can't come loose / pull on the end a little bit so it's tighter and tape it. It's not rocket science.
Oh yeah, and 6x9 gives you only 8 images on a roll of 120.

I tried pulling the wound film tighter but wouldnt really go for some reason. I have another roll of the same film (Clocktower cameras gave me 2 for a fiver) so might just blast through it one sunny day and try again

I had a dodgy batch of Fuji Neopan 400CN (re-branded XP2) once, two rolls had a crease across the length of the film. Worth checking your other rolls if you bought more at the same time.

The shot of the girl in the black shirt, columns, chequered tiles. It feels the least slick/most casual and strikes a nice tone. And that location works with the clothes 💯 percent.
As a set they’re good.

Did you ever experiment with non-standard or bright screens in your Rolleicord?
Nice - really like those B&W shots man! What camera you shooting on?
