I just wind them on a lot after the last shot (this makes absolutely no sense, still I keep doing it for shits and giggles), then open the back & take out the spool carefully and not in direct sunlight obviously, putting a finger on the wound-up film so it can't come loose / pull on the end a little bit so it's tighter and tape it. It's not rocket science.
Oh yeah, and 6x9 gives you only 8 images on a roll of 120.

Only 8 images, 6x9? Hmm im not holding out much hope. Is there a foolproof way to do 120 without this problem? I dont want to have to worry about closing every roll in the dark/keeping them lightight when sending off
