Big Clearout - All Cheap, Lots Free

Posted on
  • Post big-parts bin sorting I’m looking to move this lot on:

Giant Defy Road Mudguards - a few years old, not used since 2016, missing a couple of the rubber bits that cover the mounting poles but otherwise complete. These will definitely work with 700x25c tyres, possibly with 700x28c at a push. Free.

USE Alloy 20 degree 22.2mm TT extensions - some scratching, I ran these reversed and have cut about 1.5cm off the short end of one of them as it eased cable routing. Also DIY drilled to allow shift cables to exit from the top end. £10

Exustar clipless pedals - these take Look Keo cleats. Pretty scratched up but ideal for someone who wants to try cleats for the first time. Free.

Prologo Nago Pas saddle - well used but plenty of life left. £15

Seller Italia X1 saddle - came with old track bike, under 200 miles use. £10

    Shimano EW-SD50 Di2 wire, 700mm. Still in packaging. £7.50

Cervelo P2/3/4 seatpost - cut down tiny small after overtightening, might be worth something to someone if you run next to no seatpost showing. Free.

SRAM Garmin Mount for 31.8mm handlebars. £5

    Deda Zero 1 Stem, 110mm. £5

Garmin Edge 800 - charge port is knackered due to sweat/water ingress. Might be possible to change for a new port if you know what you’re doing. Free.

Steerer tube mounted canti brake hanger. Bought to try and use on TT bike with a tririg brake, but it wouldn’t fit my head tube design, so never used. £5.

Two FSA crank bolts - I kept buying ones that were clockwise threaded when I needed anti-clockwise, still in packaging. Free.

Di2 junction box stem mount with two mounting straps. Still sealed in packaging. £5

    Fixed gear lock ring. Free.

1 1/8 sprockets - 13, 14, 15 and 16 teeth. All unbranded other than the 13T which came on my Dolan TC1 - it doesn’t have a brand on but from the design I think might be Dura Ace or Sugino. Happy to provide pictures. £5 each, £10 for the 13T.

Shimano 105 5800 Front Derailleur. One year’s use then removed and fully cleaned. £5.

Three 1 1/8 inch track chains:

Izumi Urushi - Black & Gold. Was sized for 58x15 on a large bike so probably long enough for most people. 50 miles indoor use. £10

Izumi Standard. Was sized for a 50x14 track conversion on a 58cm Cervelo P4. £5

Izumi Urushi - Black & Gold. Came on my Dolan TC1 sized for a 47x13 setup. A bit sandy from use at Reading Velodrome, but has been cleaned up. £5

Happy to send pictures of any of these items if you’re interested in anything. Collection from East Finchley (weekdays), Reading (evening/weekend) or I can post anything out at cost.

  • Dibs garmin, PM'd

  • 2nd dibs on Garmin

  • dibs TT storage bags

  • Not totally sure what takes precedence over dibs vs private messages (I’m still fairly new here...) but as @Chak got in touch before any dibs they’re currently first in line for the Garmin. Have also had a message re the extensions, top tube bags, saddle bottle mount and aerodrink system, @platypus I’ll let you know if the bags go or are still available.

  • Dibs 5800 mech

  • I also have a taker for the mudguards and possibly the light via PM

  • Garmin will sell you a refurb’d ubit for £70 or so, right?

  • Provisional dibs on the Deda stem. PM sent.

  • Yeah, however after my third one I got fed up and moved to a 520 so this has been gathering dust for the last few years. Would rather see this one get some use if someone can bring it back to life.

  • 2nd dibs guards pls

  • Storage bags, aerodrink, light and saddle rail bottle holder gone

  • Mudguards and stem also gone, black and gold Izumi chains provisionally gone too.

  • What are the fsa bolts like? Google isn’t very helpful.

  • What width is the Prologo Nago? 134 or the wider one? And is it black?

  • The crank bolt is the self-extracting bolt for the left hand crank arm as in this link: https://www.tredz.co.uk/.FSA-MegaExo-Self-Ext-Road-Crank-Bolt_78709.htm?sku=254534&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=google_shopping&gclid=Cj0KCQiAgMPgBRDDARIsAOh3uyJAw0rm66bqzRm74NlmYGrgcYER9JwBVm5hbnRgU9F8mMqvCAoBULkaAjbdEALw_wcB

I have a K-Force light crank (white + red design) which required an anticlockwise thread, these are clockwise threaded.

Polky - the Prologo is the 134, it's in white with a cutout.

  • I'll take all 3 chains if still available
