If you're only after a few specific effects I'd absolutely recommend assembling a small board, it would be a fun project to build them into one enclosure too if you wanted?

Boss MS-3? But you want expression and it's bloody expensive anyway...
I'm gonna echo what everyone else has said, dedicated mix & match small board will serve you well...

I've never known a decent digital fuzz. I've owned the line 6 m3 before and they were all shite imo. Separates definitely better.
If you REALLY wanted to buy a multi effects you could do worse than picking up a Tone Tattoo by EHX. At least you'd have a proper fuzz, the echo is decent and you'd get one of those oldschool choruses into the mix. No expression tho.

I want a decent fuzz, reverb and expression pedal / wah
line 6 helix seems to the be the one but quality not quantity is my focus here. Not really interested in separates but of all the ones i've seen i could go for 3 of the new fender pedals and build a one-piece unit for them - love their reverb
Also seen the older Line 6 POD HD500X for £269 brand new which seems tempting
