Finding old bits, polishing them and gold plating them, very classy. There's a couple of guys doing that now.
8500 is probably not a serious price. Lots of vendors post silly prices but take much lower offers.
It's just a starting point for haggling.
Supposed Big Mig bike probably would not sell here because most members use bikes as things to ride on, not wall hangers. Alleged Kessels riders excepted.
