So the iPad has a keyboard...great.

How is the lack of track pad / mouse? Is this something I could persuade my parents they don't need?

My mum, and step mum, haven't touched their laptops since I bought them iPads. Neither were tech savvy and both in their 70's, won't put the bloody things down now... give them a few mins playing with one and they will be sold.

I bought my parents an iPad a few years back, neither of them had used a computer before then... They fucking love it...
