No, I don't follow 'royal' news, but I'm always interested in poor conceptual understanding, like: 'Oh, I'm vegetarian, but I eat fish.' or 'I'm vegan but I cook meat for my family.' That kind of lack of clarity is a key factor in why people consume animal products and needs to be cleared up. I'm afraid I don't even stop at the Royles' in-laws for that. :)
As for the Standard, yes, it's not a good newspaper (and I'm certainly very critical of the way the editor carries on), but it's still the main London newspaper. It's unfortunate but unavoidable that I read it.
