I have a pair of Park mechanics gloves that are great for working and riding. Not suitable for deep winter or rain but ok for today's weather. About £20 a pair.
I have different ones from local workwear stores, the thin ones are literally €2.73 and the insulated ones are a fiver or so. They last ages.
..vegan gloves are not difficult to find, are they?
I use those cheap mechanic's gloves for chilly weather, and these "Thinsulate" ones you often find in outdoor / army stores when it gets colder.
The other day somebody left their icebreaker wool/knit gloves and I tried those on - gotta say they're fantastic - have not found them on their site though (it's really very standard knit gloves, but made from merino).
