How is it? I've got it now, but unfortunately there's no provision for 'dumb' trainers ( from what I could see ).
-
• #103
It’s got potential of course but not there yet. There isn’t much community support or engagement between testers and those behind it. They were looking to employ a full time tester and I applied but like so many things with it, it’s pretty much radio silence. It’s one of those things that will live or die in the next few months and I don’t think it’s going to work out.

Hp has inbuilt virtual assistance that instantly gives you result in your problem. Some don't know which one is the assistance and how to use it. Hp Tech Support will give you full details about it.

Tried to run zwift on my old (8 year) hp laptop. Graphics not good enough according to zwift. With no graphics hardware upgrade option is the only alternative a newer laptop?
-
• #107
In essence yes. You can run Zwift through a new(ish) iPhone/android device although I can't imagine how usable it would be with a screen so small. Likewise, you can run it through an ipad or apple TV.

I’d say no. Not your only option. It’s light for about 17 hours a day still and warm when it’s dark. Zwift has a place (I prefer trainerroad) but only in the months when it’s dangerous to ride outside. I use a trainer during the worst weather to maintain a level of fitness that allows me to really enjoy the great outdoors :)

Anyone got access to a Zwift membership promo code?
Just bought a Wahoo Kickr Snap for the OtherHalf and looking to minimise ongoing cost if possible... -

Is getting a month of free Zwift with your Strava premium sub still a thing, and if so how do I do it?

Anyone using Zwift? Think I’ll give it a go... any advice?
-
• #113
Never heard of it.
Nah, from what I've seen it turns you into a real bore; constantly talking about virtual 'races' and people faking their w/kg
-
• #114
I use it. I like the gamification part of it, gives me something to do and is less boring than just riding a turbo trainer while staring at the wall. I find it also very time efficient. When I only have an hour after work I don't need to get in and out of the city for 15 minutes each way.
But it's purely a training tool/toy for me. I only focus on my HR and power, the speed and distance are a bit silly.

Yup, use it a lot.
Like most things you get out what you put in.
I mostly use it for training sessions as opposed to races/rides. Find the graphics keep the mind a little more interested than staring at a graph in trainer road.
Workout builder is easy to use too and there are some good sessions included

I really like it, mostly for workouts as it integrates nicely with training peaks, using the long races instead of long rides is pretty good too.

What’s the currently industry accepted reduction factor on weight for zwift? 0.8? Don’t want to overdo it.
-
• #119
Hahaha, 1:1, although it is amusing to look at the profile photos of some of the guys who beat you in the 'races'.
-
• #120
I like Zwift because I only weigh 72kg in it.
-

(jk... as if I use Zwift)
fat4lyf!

to be honest I entered mine at the start of the year and not looked again, its about right +-1kg..

Using zwofactory.com is brilliant for making workouts. I did an FTP ramp test based on the Trainer Road FTP Ramp. Worked well.
-
• #124
was just trying to build this exact thing in training peaks but limited by % of FTP rather than being able to specify actual numbers, looks like this is similarly limited, how did you do it with 20w increments?
-
• #125
I didn't.
I built a warmup then rested for 3 minutes at 46% of my FTP, then added 6% a minute.
I’m on the beta.
