Thanks all. I've struggled to get an anchovy to work on past repairs as always end up with a noticeable bump so thought a patch might be better, but will see if I can find where I've put them and have another go.
I'd thought patches might work better but will see. Hopefully the tyre isn't completely fked, feeling quite pissed off at whichever nobhead threw a bottle onto the street outside my house.
