Would it also be possible (but maybe completely stupid - just a thought) to fill the screw head with tin? I mean with a cheap soldering iron and some tin (like for circuit bord soldering for example) it should allow to fill the screw head preventing or at least deterring thieves while allowing to remove it easily if needed by re-heating it?

Is there some issue with Hexlox i don't know about? £10 for key, £10 for Hexlox, can use on any bike, takes seconds to remove.
If it's just for commuting how much do you really need a Brooks? i'm currently enjoying a ratty Fizik with totally snapped shell for saddle/hammock duties on my commuter.

Skülly's methods seem to strike a balance between being fairly secure (nothing is 100% secure in this town) and still allow height adjustment and occasional seatpost removal/fiddling to ensure it's not stuck after prolonged use.
On a depressing note, I'd still be paranoid of revenge damage to your biek:(
Oh and +1 for a tatty plastic bag, tucked in the nose while riding.
