When are you getting your frame? Is kr for road, gravel or other? Thanks

Not sure, I was slack after the birth of first child. We have a design based on my old bike fit, I’ve sent him through my spec list for how the bike will be built up and I’m waiting for a response..

It’s a commuter,everyday bike based around the Alfine di2 kit I’m going to swap over from the genesis day one I’ve got. Mudguards, rear rack, dynamo hub and lights, etc..

Ted James does ti now, if I was going UK made I would definitely get him to make it. His frames are stunning and does anodising on them too

Just seen an enigma frame in a local bike shop... the quality of welding has improved up to the very best that the American specialist have to offer.

Ted James or Sturdy Cycles are making the best Ti frames in the UK currently in my opinion, and ive had dealings with pretty much all of the options out there.

Triton are very good if you want to go futher afeild - ive worked on a few, and are easily of equal qualty to the Moots frames Ive had through the Studio. There are a fair few very skilled ex Aerospace engineers now putting their skills to frame building in Eastern Europe / Russia.

American based options are undeniably of great quality, but hugely overpriced. You can get a frame of equal quality for FAR less money within the EU.

The money Moots/Firefly/Mosaic will cost once you've factored in the shit £>$ exchange rate, and shipping/import duties is quite frankly rediculous. Anyone willing to pay that much for a bike frame needs a cold slap.

@hoops Sturdy Cycles do look like they're doing some interesting stuff. Do you know anyone who's ridden one of their titanium frames?
