and to keep it going for 10 years is amazing.
Thanks Branwen. Actually we survived 20 years and offered proper contracts for around 17 years for core office staff then 13 years for all staff.
As a cooperative it was important to wind up without leaving anyone of our members out of pocket. We also tried to ensure people we made redundant had information and references for their next career steps and have done pretty well with this.
However any leads regarding possible work for ex-CTUK people (all experts in cycle training and cycle mechanics) would be brilliant. If anyone has any ideas please PM me and I'll post this on CTUK's (Microcosm) forum kindly set up by @Velocio who deserves a gong!
We should ride again soon Branwen :)
@user95780 who are you :)
As someone who works for a small cycling-related events company, paying all your staff a contracted wage for any length of time is a mighty impressive achievement, and to keep it going for 10 years is amazing. Very honorable to decided to wind up with dignity rather than cause potential chaos down the line also.
I don't think I've ever met you in a professional capacity but its always been a pleasure riding with you, best luck for the future and whatever it holds!
