Woah, that's lovely. Build plans?

Cheers. Does / not signify 'or'? That's how I meant it.

Not at all! I had planned to, I bought the cockpit all together from a guy locally and could not be bothered to remove the tape to raise them. Eventually I'll get around to it, maybe.

Currently thinking it should be a summer fixed. For me that means 700*28 in a fast tyre; drops; hoods and a front brake cable doubler. Undecided on cranks. Also undecided on whether I'll go for a modern quill stem or a convertor to use an ahead stem.

This Shand is awesome.
As is your bolt. I regret selling mine!

My Pomp in not quite it's current set up (now sporting DA 7400 cranks and Surly Crosscheck forks with a canti instead of the disc).

Annoying tyre choice and annoying levers.

From what i've read on the article this one is a single speed, but i like it nonetheless

Aluminium bike called Ferrus?
-
• #220
Yes ! ;) It's actually the brand of a french bike seller (Serge Dutouron)
This one is a bomb ! Light and stiff, and cheap as well. -
• #221
Downtube looks very PreCursa, probably comes out of the same Taiwanese shop.
-
• #222
At least it's not called 'Ferris'.
-
• #223
Maybe, although I'm not sure the precursa have the same shape near the bottom bracket : https://www.sergedutouron.com/cadre-ferrus-piste-cr.15-alu-7005-a3188.html
Can't find the geometry on the web to compare with the dolan...
Edit : found it, seems like dimensions are not exactly the same. -

dimensions are not exactly the same
Not the same bike, maybe the same factory.

Indeed, why not ! :)
Some people must have missed that meeting 🙂
