Mrs came back from town last night with a triple deck of Konditor & Cook mincers. Get in!
Celebrated 1st Dec with a top flight artisanal mincer, and a cup of tea. Happy days.

Outrageous depth on these Co-op Irrestibles 2s. Fantastic mincemeat but a lot of pastry to digest. Worth a look.

Misread that as 'Barley & Sage',

Iceland £1.89/12 mincers.
Prised the lid off a couple.
Slid in a half teaspoon of Rhubarb & Ginger jam. Replaced lids. 30 seconds in the microwave.
Ginger shone through the sweetness. -

Konditor and Cook?! Bayley and Sage?
Mincing is the new golf, it seems. Have we really strayed so far from our roots as a working-class movement?

Eh? Mincemeat was a luxury foodstuff.

The season is on. A couple of classics up first with the Sainos all butter brandy laced. I've got some B-side/album-cut deep fillers for tomorrow.

Came home late from work to discover misses brick had made over 2kg of sweet mincemeat out of a bunch of windfall apples. Currently steeping in the fridge for a few days until ready to go in some pastry.
Well some might make it into pastry...

Some excellent looking mincers in here today.
Had four in the last 24 hours, sampled Co-op deep filled, Co-op mini and M&S lattice (tsk) so far. All solid.

I don't really know where I'm going with this but I was amazed to noticed that a Greggs Mince Pie has 279 calories in it. I mean, a Krispy Kreme donut has 90 calories less...what the fuck do they put in them?!
