Fenders fitted (sks bluemels), also new saddle - Brooks c15 allweather carved.
Still need to play with rear fender, front needs mud flap and whole bike deserved a better photos, but it rides like a charm and is ready for winter.

I have too many bikes...
And new are coming. First is road - 650b rando conversion.
Second is retro mtb with disc fork and also 650b wheels for mi fiancee. I need to give it to framebuilder (probably Rychtarski, because he lives nearby) to add disc brake tab, do some cable routing etc.

Well, I can’t park my car in garrage anymore. There are bikes, parts and tools everywhere.

It seems to me you have too many cars.

Marin is a beaut ! great stuff - mind if I ask what those V brakes are ? - im doing a similar build and modern shimano deore/Alivio dont seat fully on the bosses so pins barely engage. The standard boss 'shoulder' seems to be 6(ish)mm but these new shimanos only have a 3(ish)mm recess.

Thanks!
They're just Tektro v-brakes, nothing special but they do the job. -

It's like someone took my shitty little Marin and made it 100× better. Aspirational
(no pic, I don't want to lower the standard in this thread)

Thanks people.
In other news, I gave second Marin to mr Rychtarski today, it's gonna have disc brake mount, also fork is getting some upgrade - lowrider and fender mounts. Can't wait to build this bike! -

I’m so excited and can’t wait to put it together!

I have Stronglight crankset for rando, but it has really fugly ori chainring bolts, that also hitted chainstay so I modified it a little, so it can work with standartd bolts.

Shiiiiet! I haven’t noticed that the frame has these stupid type-b shifter bosses... so it needed another mod. I won’t be looking for special frame shifters, cause that’s close to impossible. I’m going to use barcons instead! But this needs some modifications to cable stops and existing bosses.
I needed to drill stops a bit, so they fit the big round part od boss, then I grinded small bit with hand file. Almost perfect fit! I also had to retap the threads to m5 (this stupid type-b standard uses m4,5), and now I have working cable stops

Nice bodge. Well fettled sir.
Nice! Just found this randomly. Is this my old frame? Seems to fit you way better than me. I always felt like I had too much seat post showing so it looked out of proportion.
