I love a path frame, some of them were designed around 27" wheels
In the days when track cycling was still called path cycling, all of them were, since 28" tubulars are about the same size as 27" clinchers. As a result, road/path bikes usually had 27" wheels, whereas pure road bike more often had 26" wheels.
Thanks! It's an old track/path frame so plenty of clearance. Got a load of life left on these tyres but will upgrade them when they're worn down.
