Yes, but can you say you've really lived unless you've used the recommended chain?
Cheers - I guess it was bonuses all round at SRAM marketing HQ when they realised they could increase sales of chains by writing that instruction on the chainrings...

Speaking of chains, do you also run KMC chains on your Campagnolo-equipped bikes? I was tempted to use a KMC missing link on a Chorus chain but I wonder if there is any point.

I've just got a SRAM X-Sync 1x chainring (thanks to @gagray for speedy delivery!). It's got a note on it saying 'SRAM Chain Only'.
Does this mean a specific X-Sync chain? Or any SRAM chain? Currently running a SRAM PCsomething 10spd.
