Are the 1.5V Shimano hubs (ie the £45 T785 that Spa Cycles are selling) any good? Front and rear lights only, no USB charging.

Interested to hear this as well; the consensus elsewhere seemed to be that they'd be fine for about-town/commuter use, but would be unlikely to give full brightness for higher-powered lights (60+ lux).
